Time really flies when you are not watching. This is the second post on the approaching new year. And the reason is that, maybe I am a little emo. Maybe it's the drinks. But hell, that was one helluva year. I am not the kind of person who lingers on history or the past because i believe there is so much more in the future.
I want all of that and if I keep looking at the past, I can't have all of the future that I deserve.
But this year, so many things happened that I can't help but reflect.
2010 is for refocusing. Realigning, retuning, rewriting some goals.
2010 is gonna be one big mama!!!
Not too far off from our entry into the new year, I expect to find more pleasure in writing. More pizazz and maybe even completion of my 'hanging story'. No, it' s not really hanging because it's done. I finished the story, except for the ending. I want a pow-wow ending but I can't come up with one! Damn frustrating!!
And it's due for the editing process too but being the big fat, ugly procrastinator and workaholic that I am....urgh.
In fact, I cure that procrastination by poring YET another new story.
I can't even end one properly yet, and I am onto another one. I know. Come on, come on. This is what I am talking about. Focus. Complete. Lunge ahead!!

I have been doing this pose, part of Cosmic Dance (a type of yoga, I am assuming), called Stargazer pose without knowing it is called Stargazer's pose a lot in the past. You see, sometimes, I don't follow the rules and come up with my own stretches and poses. It is fun. I have on some music, nice, soothing music or just anything I can click on. Then I go with the flow, letting my hair down. Just moving to the music...and that is when I come up with the above Stargazer's pose. This pose really stretches your sides. Keep your eyes on the outstretched hand if you are keeping it pointed to the top, as if you are waving or connecting to a higher energy from the Universe. Your arms will ache a little but hey, toned arms, here you come! :-) For those who want a bigger stretch, it is safe to slowly and gently move the lifted hand towards your back...don't overdo it, listen to your body's complaints and respect it.
